Jo Ann's Story
Life
It's September 2007, over 19 yrs since MHS and over 12 years since I left Florida. I am currently living in Danville, California, a suburb of San Francisco with my husband Larry and 2 children, Cassidy who will be 4 in November and Ricky who was born 8/12/07. Spending some time at home for the next couple of months with the new baby, then will be returning to work, believe it or not, I am still with HFC -- will be 20 yrs in December, though we are now part of a larger bank, HSBC. Ca is the 5th state we've lived in since leaving FL -- many many transfers with the employer, spent a couple years in Mobile, Alabama, great place if you like to fish and spend time on the water, not quite as hot as Fl. awesome seasons, close to both the ocean and mountains. Left NC to head to Il, lived in the Chicago suburburbs for 5 yrs, a bit cold and snowy in the winter, but loved to build snowmen with my daughter. We moved to Ca last June, and it is beautiful here, awesome weather with great views and a new part of the country to enjoy. Larry and I have been married for almost 11 years, we actually met in Tampa, he's a native, but we've both enjoyed traveling and living in different parts of the country. Most of our family still lives in Fl, so we get back 2-3 times a year. The children are absolutely wonderful, both happy and healthy, and have really added a new dimension to our lives, still can't believe I have 1 child born in Illinois and another born in California, but Fl is still home.
